EMMA for Peace was officially launched at the 13th World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates in Warsaw (21-23 October 2013), under the patronage of UNESCO and the auspices of the Secretary General of the Council of Europe. EMMA organised a series of concerts throughout the Summit, bringing established musicians and cultural figures from around the Middle East and Mediterranean, together with young talents from the region, in a musical dialogue for Peace.
